CONSECRATION OF THE ONENESS TEMPLE -- GOLDEN CITY, INDIA
Consecration of the Oneness Temple
Golden City, India, April 22, 2008

Dear Ones,
This article conveys the realities I personally experienced and carefully researched over this past week here in the Golden City where we have witnessed an event, unique in the modern world.

In less than 24 hours nearly a million people from all over India and across the globe—North and South America, Europe, Russia, Australia, Africa, China and Japan—traveled to the newly built Oneness Temple to receive Darshan from, and express gratitude to, Sri Amma and Sri Bhagavan. Such was the outpouring—nothing short of miraculous—that no one could have predicted the numbers that arrived, not even in the wildest stretch of the imagination.

The carefully detailed attendance estimates, derived from confirmations, had predicted one million people to visit the Temple over the six-day opening. However, by the morning of the first day, over 600,000 people had arrived! This was far beyond the 150,000 to 200,000 expected for each day and according the train and bus services, another 2.5 to 3 million were on their way to arrive in the coming days! The Oneness facilities could not safely accommodate numbers of this size. Sri Bhagavan, out of his concern for everyone's safety and well being—especially the ten of thousands of children who were attending—immediately called an end to the Darshans and Temple ceremony, reconfiguring it into smaller groups to be brought in over longer periods.

If these numbers had gathered in the western world and the event had been canceled, the outcome would have likely been one of chaos and disruption, but India—that unique and sacred land—has thousands of years of spiritual traditions. With attitudes steeped in deep reverence for Sri Amma and Sri Bhagavan and what they teach and live for, an atmosphere of calm prevailed throughout the gathering. There was never the slightest sense of disorder or disruption. (Thanks in no small part to the over 3,500 event volunteers taking personal care of every ones needs and the 1,000 security officers.) The change in plans went smoothly, and every man, woman and child who planned, prepared, or participated in this event must feel extremely proud.

The Oneness Temple—a Temple for the ages—has been consecrated, and those of us blessed to participate will cherish the Darshans and share them with every one we can.
The Oneness Temple was the ten-year vision of Krishna ji (son of Amma and Bhagavan). Krishna ji envisioned a magnificent temple built for all faiths to gather under one roof. This manifested vision—The Oneness Temple—has been constructed to utilize and magnify the exact laws of dynamic energy that make up our physical universe and connect it throughout the Cosmos. A great confluence of physics and metaphysics was intricately designed and then meticulously woven together by Master Architect, Dr. Prabhat Kumar Poddar ji—under the inspiration and guidance of Sri Amma and Sri Bhagavan (founders of the Oneness Movement).

Every phase of this Temple's design and construction are exact in their measurements; every length, every turn and every angle. The height and number of each stair up three flights has been calculated using Vedic mathematics to move energy into the body's leg movements causing a great ease of climbing so many stairs—like Yoga in action. Every wall corresponds to the Earth's gravitational constructs. Magnetic meridian grids and the placement and dimension of every pillar and archway fit perfectly within this matrix. All of the ceiling heights resonate with the human aura to create a sense of physical and spiritual welcoming. Every floor plan (complete with their earthly directions), every window and door add to this sense of natural flow. The placement and direction of flowing water surrounding the entire Temple create the effect of being on an island—islands create an abundance of clarity and dispense all other static, lifeless energies. The human psyche recognizes this as home.

The Oneness Temple is an exact physical replica of these natural dynamics of life. It activates our human body's ability to integrate these natural dynamics into a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual experience of Oneness. The only other structure I have witnessed of such intricate science and magnificent art is the Golden Temple in Amritsar, India... built some four hundred years ago employing this same physical/spiritual consciousness. These temples—the Oneness Temple and the Golden Temple—are an expression of pure human mastery on the physical plane. They are, in fact, living beings, blessing every living being who enters them. And while inside we become a pure component of the Cosmic circuitry—not individuals—not alone—but all one.
.JPG)
Walking into the Oneness Temple and the Golden Temple, you instantly experience that the physical spaces have been constructed to correspond to your exact spiritual dimensions. You sense your natural healthy human radiance. Thereby not only are you embraced by the sensation of fitting into the Temple, but a deep joy awakens by simply standing there. Like walking into a healing chamber where all of the known and unknown forces balance all time and space to align the physical, mental, emotional and subtle bodies into one.
.JPG)
Let me further explain what intricate attention has been paid to the details of the Oneness Temple's opening. In a world where corners are often cut and details are consistently undervalued and overlooked, Krishna ji (son of Sri Amma and Sri Bhagavan) put every detailed element to work. I must declare that this is an outstanding fact I have experienced at Oneness University—both here in India, and at the Oneness University Campus in Namale, Fiji. The laws of caring and sharing are not mere philosophies here, they are realities in practice. For those hundreds of thousands who attended this occasion and for the billions who will visit this magnificent structure over a thousand years to come; Sri Amma, Sri Bhagavan, Krishna ji and the entire Oneness organization, spared no expense in manifesting the science of their vision and the grace of their mission.

Preparations for the Consecration and Temple opening were as carefully charted and executed as the construction of the Temple itself. Over six detailed months of intricate planning went into the logistics of the opening. India's largest and most successful event management company was hired to oversee every aspect. The facilities were painstakingly prepared to accommodate the daily expectations of 120,000 to 150,000 spiritual devotees. The logistical details included shade covered holding areas for 150,000 people at a time with large fans every three meters, continuous fresh water stations, food service and toilet facilities. As the people were directed toward the Temple in groups of five thousand, they did so through three miles of shade-covered pathways—again the air refreshed using large fans every three meters, along with the fresh water, food and toilets facilities.
On the day of the event there were no break-downs. You do not call an overwhelming success a breakdown. Sri Bhagavan—seeing the crowd multiplying into the hundreds of thousands so rapidly and enthusiastically—simply rescheduled and reconfigured the event for the pure safety of all the people involved.
Once again, with deep gratitude to Sri Amma, Sri Bhagavan, Krishna ji and family for this technology and their vision; to the Acharyas, the Dasas, the Oneness Staff, the regional coordinators, and the entire Oneness Organization for a job well done.
We now move forward together into a World of Oneness.
Always with Love Blessing Prayer and Gratitude,
Guru Singh and Guruperkarma Kaur

Great Job. I was planning to go and had reached Chennai when I was informed of the rescheduling. I had been to temple once before is consecration, and I could feel the immense sense of power, awe and energy in the mediation hall on the top floor. Blessed are that we have Amma and Bhagwan who had the vision to build such a grandeur structure.
I am lucky since I stay in the south of India and I am very positive that I will get the occasion to go again and when I do that I will carry along all my oneness friends with me.
Love and blessings to all

Dear Gurusinghji, Namaste. I was there at the Oneness Temple on 22nd morning at 8 a.m. I saw you and the other gentleman with the long turban. We are all so blessed to be living as contemporaries to such great visionary Avatars as Amma Bhagawan. My husband and I are associated with the Oneness Movement very actively since 1996. We live in Dubai and offer weekly services to the local devotees through a custom designed programme called the Living Dharma Satsangh.
Your blog site is amazing with such detail and excellent descriptions & pictures. Keep up the great service you are doing to humanity.
With love & grace,
Subhasree Yuvakumar

Dear Gurusinghji,
I am greatly impressed with the blog that you have created here. We were to come with 2500 people from our state for the Oneness Temple opening, but as the programme was cancelled, all of us dropped the plan.
I stay in western region of India, namely Gujarat. I am a Oneness Coordinator, and we as family work for Oneness Growth in our city and state.
I am a blogger as well. You can check my blog as well; and if you liked it please leave a comment on it; and also if you have any suggestion do let me know.
