A THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Dear Ones,
There are two rivers, or streams, that flow together to form our life . . .

the genetic stream and the cosmic stream. Your genealogy is your genetic stream—-the history of your physical DNA—-its imprint on your body comes from seven generations. This is equal to 254 ancestors . . . 2 parents, 4 grandparents, 8 great-grandparents and so on 16, 32, 64, 128 (at the seventh level). This is not the you in you, it is the vessel that carries you through life.

Your cosmic stream—-pure Spirit with Akasha—-the history of every incarnation of the soul goes back millions of lifetimes. It is the essence of you—-the actual you in you.

When these two rivers come together they create what is known as life on earth. They remain together for a period of a lifetime and then separate . . . we call the separation of the genealogy and the cosmology, death.

At death, the "dust" of the body, the genealogy, returns to the earth, and the cosmology, retaining all of who we actually are and have ever been, moves on—-this doesn't die . . . it never dies.
Always with Love Blessing Prayer and Gratitude,
Guru Singh and Guruperkarma

Dear Guru Singh,
I would like to know who are the people with Yogananda and where was that photo made? Lady J. "Serendipity in Jefferson Country"
