A THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Dear Ones . . . Sat Nam,
One hundred years ago, if anyone were to claim they could dial their phone with a collection of musical tones ♫and no connecting wires, they would be considered "over the top", "around the bend", or just plain silly. Today, we understand sound to be the root of everything, even the inanimate objects. Everything is vibrating at the level of the atoms and every vibration is a sound. Like the touch-tone, wireless phones of today; there will be countless inventions and discoveries in the decades to come revealing phenomena that the current intellect and senses find impossible to comprehend. Just the way evolutionary magic goes on working.
The human of today is like an old black and white television with rabbit ears, only receiving a few fuzzy networks in a world of countless active crystal clear channels. We do not perceive what is, we perceive what we believe is possible. The impossibilities are invisible to us until they are rendered possible by some courageous adventurer, weathering the doubting storms of public opinion.
The sounds that we can hear as humans are only a small spectrum of the sounds that actually exist in our universe—the dogs hear far more—-we hear a tiny sliver. The sights, the smells, the touch; all of our senses are limited to a much smaller portion of the whole, but the entire rest of the spectrum—with all of its treasures—exists beyond this limited perspective we refer to as “reality."
What we yogis refer to as—-the Living Moment—-contains the entire remainder of the cosmic spectrum (all the channels), yet has no dimension. It is like the O in Sacred Numerology . . . when we enter a space of no dimension, we enter total space ∞.
It is known as Shunya, and working in this realm, with the implications of our incredible human capacity—-a worship-body equipped with infinite-mind—-is what was known to the Ancients as Immortal Authority. Just beyond our tiny perceptible spectrum of the total Cosmos, lay a host of phenomena—Animal Guides, Angels, Fairies and an entire world of wonder.
Having relationships with these potential, probable and practical collaborators is amongst meditation’s ultimate rewards. The ability to live as a Master in the midst of Earth's mysteries can often depend upon their active assistance. Entering Shunya, we achieve such incredible "traction" with these subtle elements of matter that we begin to understand the true science behind “miracles.”
