INSPIRATIONAL BLESSINGS

The word desire is made up of the two separate parts de and sire . . . 'de' means 'of'' and 'sire' is 'self'. Desire therefore means—of the self—but it also means to serve the self and
this is not wrong.

To serve the self is not "self-serving" . . . it is not "selfish" and is not a bad thing at all. Get accustomed to doing it and you will find it gratifying and others will want to be around you.

These Inspirational Blessings are like mantras . . . reminders that cause us to think at a new angle; to renew and build our vision and purpose—by igniting, inspiring and causing insight— to then actualize our conscious focus.

Thank you. This conflict comes up frequently within me where I doubt weather I'm being selfish and If I should be doing something for others when I do things for myself. This offers alot of clarity.
