A true relationship is not a fragile event; it is an event of great power, an event of remarkable freedom and versatility, authority and reward. It is an opportunity for growth.
It is not an external experience of tremendous fondness; it is an internal event of absolute oneness. It is a mirror . . . reflecting you, and like any mirror, it reflects exactly what it receives.
When you don't recognize or appreciate what is returning from the mirror — don't believe for a moment that you will receive a different result by changing mirrors. This is just one of the many illusions of the illusion . . . ultimately, any relationship is merely you reflecting you.
At some point you must also ask yourself; is this a relationship or a relation-canoe? Are all the participants able to stand up in it . . . or when you do stand up, does it tip over? If it tips, it is time to re-engineer the ship (the keel and the foundation) so there is never fear of standing up or speaking out.
The quest of relationship is to engineer the future — to repeat many of the blessings and none of the curses from the past . . . the teamwork of consistently seeing the other as the self is a great step in this direction.
These Inspirational Blessings are like mantras . . . reminders that cause us to think at a new angle . . . to shake up old patterns . . . to renew and rebuild our vision and purpose. We then gain insight to ignite and inspire an opening to manifest our conscious focus through conscious action.
